Michael O’Brien

Michael O’Brien is now celebrating 28 years in full time ministry. In the early 90’s he signed a record deal with Benson Records. He garnered 8 number one singles on the radio. Some of those songs (If Ever I Forget and Nothins gonna turn me around) were during his solo career but several (When God Made You, Rescue, and Psalm 40) were with the group “Newsong” during his 7 year tenure as their lead singer.
Today, Michael enjoys every opportunity to lead worship and perform concerts in churches and conferences all over the United States. He is a regular worship leader at “The Cove” for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and well as leading at Answers In Genesis women’s and pastors conferences. He also works with the American Association of Christian Counseling and Fresh Grounded Faith Conferences. He has been married to his wife Heidi for 33 years and has 4 children and 2 grandchildren and one on the way. “I’m thankful to the lord for every opportunity to lead God’s people in worship to the Lord. It is one of my greatest privileges and honors.”

Don Hoeckle

Don Hoeckle has been an accountant and tax preparer for over 40 years. He has worked as Controller for corporations ranging from small operating budgets to over $10M in revenue. He has prepared tax returns for many individuals, small non-profits, and small companies. Don currently serves on the board of directors for four different non-profits as Treasurer.
Jacob Kitonsa

Dr. Jacob Kitonsa, the Vice President for Global Program at OneChild is a servant leader with extensive
global experience in holistic and youth development, leadership development, transformational
development, adult learning, creative facilitation, program design and international non-profit social
enterprise development. He is also a Professor at Colorado Christian University (CCU), USA and adjunct
Professor at Uganda Christian University (UCU), Uganda. Dr. Kitonsa has worked and traveled to over 40
countries both in Asia, Latin America, North America, Europe and Africa. Over the years, he has
demonstrated ability to obtain outstanding results through dynamic experiential capacity building for
multicultural faith and non-faith-based organizations, ministries, and institutions. He is highly skilled in
executive leadership, mentoring and coaching with a proven ability to transfer strength-based
management knowledge and skills to increase engagement and drive organizational outcomes. Dr.
Kitonsa has 25 plus years of global corporate cross cultural leadership experience with outstanding
analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. He is known internationally as “Uncle Jacob,” a friend
of the poor, a champion for the children in hard places, a team player, and a distinguished godly servant
leader. “Uncle Jacob” was born and raised in Uganda. He is married to Sarah and together they have 4
wonderful teenagers and young adults. They live in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA.
Dr. Esther Shin Chuang
Faculty
Dr. Esther Shin Chuang is an award-winning concert pianist, worship leader, and educator who has shared music and taught worship seminars in North America, Asia, Africa, and Europe. She earned a Bachelor of Music at Peabody Conservatory, a Master of Music at Manhattan School of Music, a Master of Arts in Spiritual Formation and Discipleship at Moody Theological Seminary, and a doctorate in worship studies from the Robert E. Webber Institute of Worship Studies, all in the US.
She was a Pastor of Music and Worship at Church of the Savior and Faculty of Music and Worship at Moody Bible Institute in the US before her relocation to Penang, Malaysia. She is currently a lecturer of worship at Malaysia Baptist Theological Seminary.
